Well, you can’t expect me to wait all week to bake again! I decided to make mini apple pies in small ceramic dishes. I made pie dough for the first time! Note about pie crust dough: make sure your well of flour is deep enough to hold the water before you pour it in! Yes, I made a messy mistake. Let’s just say, there was gluey water all over the counter. BUT it all turned out so yummy. I just thinly sliced an apple from my fridge; coated the slices in splenda, flour, and cinnamon; and then bundled them up in yummy dough. Baked at 400 for 35 min…perfection! Was the perfect night cap after the miraculous Iowa victory!
