Well aparently I’m geometrically challenged. I rolled out the dough and measured each side of the rectangles and made notches at the correct spots…and cut triangles. I was supposed to end up with 12 triangles, but I ended up with 14. The croissants are smaller than normal but I have more of them…so I would call that a bonus! They now are in the fridge for round 2 of proofing…until tomorrow morning.
Plus, I had enough scraps to make a couple small chocolate croissant squares! And two of my traditional croissants have chocolate in them…but which ones??
