Time for pies en masse. This Thanksgiving I made Pecan Pie (twice!) and cornbread for the stuffing (dad helped a little). It is very important to make Pecan Pie because somebody might bring a minced pie to dinner…and nobody will want to eat that, so your pie becomes the favorite! Strategy. And there was no way I could alter the Pecan Pie recipe to make it healthier (people were hovering over my shoulder as I made it).
