There was a football game on Saturday before Halloween, so I was inspired to make a themed treat for the occasion. I provided the treat…the alcohol provided the trick (Halloween hangover for all the boys!).
To start, I made brownie batter and poured it into my mini-muffin tin to bake. I made them bite-sized so I wouldn’t have to mess with a big tray of messy, cut up brownies that are too much of a handful. I baked them up on Friday evening and also prepared my yummy Greek pasta salad to bring along too.
On Saturday morning, bright and early, I made the frosting. I chose an orange-colored seven minute frosting that tasted like vanilla marshmallow so it would be light, fluffy, and not over-take my rich chocolate brownie bites. The pictures make it look salmon-colored, but I promise they were orange! Topped with a candy corn, these little treats just screamed Halloween!
