Happy Black Friday! I wanted to participate in Black Friday by doing a giveaway!
For those of you that have food allergies or who like to eliminate specific food groups for personal reasons, Go Max Go has made candy bars for you! I’m so excited about these because they resemble the candy bar flavors that I grew up with, but they are vegan, dairy free, and have no artificial ingredients (also, no trans fats and no hydrogenated oils). Don’t get me wrong, they are still candy bars and still should be eaten in moderation just like any other sugary treat! But, feel good about pigging out on things that are a little more pure.
Now, don’t these sound familiar:
Mahalo: coconut, almonds, rice-milk coating (bet you can guess how excited I was about this!!)
Cleo’s: peanut butter cups
Snap!: crisped rice in a rice-milk chocolatey coating
The Giveaway! You have all of today (Black Friday, 2011) and tomorrow (Black Saturday?) to enter to win some Go Max Go candy bars, and at the end of Saturday, I’ll tally the entries and submit your info to Go Max Go and they will send you your yummy prize (it might take me a couple days to make the announcement, so please be patient with me)!
How to enter: Leave a comment below per mode of entry you partake in, telling me after you’ve done it (you can do all or just one!), and you’ll get an entry point for:

I’m thankful for the information and knowledge I’ve gained while becoming vegan. It’s enabled me to inspire close friends and family to follow this path, or at least provoke curiosity towards it 🙂
