Hey everyone! To me, this is a big announcement:
I’m training for another Half Marathon! I will be running the Little Rock Half Marathon on March 4th, 2012. This means I’ll be talking a bit more about nutrition and exercise during the coming months. I will also be sharing information on all of the protein products I try during training! I hope to try many different varieties and maybe find a favorite I can stick to, but I’ll be open to trying a number of brands and sharing that journey with you too!
I’ll start by telling you about Click protein! It is 120 calories, 15 grams of protein, and 2 shots of espresso, all wrapped in yummy flavors of mocha or vanilla latte. This protein powder is so yummy and tastes like you’re sipping your favorite espresso drink, and they even say you can drink it hot (I would love to try it hot, but to make sure I tasted the flavor I had, I drank it more traditionally, cold)! I was really thrown off by this product because I usually chug my protein, but the espresso flavor made me slow down and sip it! I feel like this would provide the perfect morning jolt before a long run, but for me it provided the perfect amount of protein for recovery and espresso to get me through the rest of my morning after a shorter training run. I’m so glad I was introduced to this!
