As many of you know, I am getting primed and ready to run a half marathon, which happens in two weekends! I can hardly believe that it’s almost here! One of the great benefits of the product testing I do, is that I feel like I get to find which energy bars work best for me during training (trust me, I eat a ton of them). Depending on the time of day and whether I am pre- or post-workout, I choose different bars to meet my needs. For example, when I reviewed my supply of Clif Bars, I mentioned that eating the CRUNCH bars are perfect for me before working out, because I need a low calorie, low protein, high carb snack (especially when my supply of bananas is depleted).
So, over the next week or two, I’m gonna talk about a few energy bars I’ve been trying! I’ll share with you all the latest yummy bars out there, so whether you’re looking for a work out fuel or you just like eating bars for snacks, you’ll know all the stuff to look for!
If you have any suggestions for me to sample, please let me know and I’ll try to make that happen.
Just a teaser, we’ll be looking at the new natural Quest bars, LUNA bars, including their protein bar line, the latest Wine Time Travel bars, and NuGo Dark chocolate bars!
This will also give me a chance to catch up with some baking, because time seems to be running away from me (ha, literally) so I’ll have some yummy treats to share with all of you!
