Holy smokes it’s 80 degrees outside already! With weather like this, I’m definitely in need of a milkshake that won’t make me cry when I calculate the calories. Plus, because I prefer dairy-free treats, I know I have to concoct it myself (there are very few ice cream shops out there that use dairy free milk). This recipe is super quick, very healthy, and is perfectly portioned for an afternoon treat!
To make it easy on myself for treats to come, I have an ice cube try in the freezer dedicated to almond milk ice cubes. I fill up the tray with unsweetened almond milk (I like Silk unsweetened vanilla almond milk), freeze it, and use 6 cubes at a time per “milk” shake. Just don’t forget to refill it after you use the cubes!
