First of all, I want to announce the winner of my NationalTrail Mix Day Giveaway by CLIF MOJO… Renata!!
Congratulations!
If it wasn’t you, no worries, I have some awesome giveaways coming up that you’ll definitely want to get in on!
It’s been a great Foodie Penpals month! Last month, if you’ll remember, I was kind of shafted by the person I sent my package to (bummer), so this month was a breath of fresh air!
First, I’ll tell you that I sent my package to Colleen who blogs at The Chocolate Mile. She is on a mission to lose weight, be healthy, and have fun in the process! I loved putting together a package for her because I felt like we were very similar.
I received a package this month from Leslie! She put together an amazing package.
She told me that she was getting into trying raw foods, so she included a raw food trail mix and a granola bar. Both were amazing! I have been rationing out the trail mix, which tastes like bold chocolate, coconut, and almonds!
She also included a jar of her homemade granola, because she knew that I make a lot of my own granola! I love trying other people’s versions of the foods I love to make!
In my package, she tucked a jar of Kansas City BBQ sauce which is amazing. I love that she thought of this, because living in Memphis, I just love sampling all of the BBQ flavors out there.
Also, she put a jar of pomegranate juice and chia seeds with a recipe for using them (it resembles my coconut chia pudding, but because it uses juice, it turns out more like jello!). What a fun idea.
Finally, there was a couple packets of Justin’s Hazelnut Chocolate spread, perfect for an on-the-go sweet treat, and a package of Trader Joe’s Flattened Bananas! I had told her that I don’t have a Trader Joe’s, but that I love that store with all of my being, so she hunted for something fun in there that I hadn’t tried before!
Great Package Leslie! I’ve absolutely loved it, thank you so much!
Of course, I highly encourage you to join Foodie Penpals! It is so much fun, you’ll only spend $15 (because that’s the maximum you can spend on your Pal!), and you’ll discover new people and new foods. Click on thislink to learn about joining Lindsay’s (The Lean Green Bean) awesome program!
