Excited? You should be!
The Peach Banana Bread was amazing, right? Well it’s about to get ten times better!
Here’s a fabulous treat, just for you for breakfast (ok, you can double the recipe and share if you insist).
Plus, it’s guilt free because all of your components are healthy! It only looks sinful.
Peach Banana Bread French Toast
(makes 2-3 slices)
2-3 slices of Peach Banana Bread
1 egg white
¼ tsp. cinnamon
¼ tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
½ tsp Stevia or Splenda
peach, sliced, for garnish
~Heat your skillet while you are preparing your ingredients.
~Whisk together all of the ingredients in a shallow bowl. When they’re well incorporated, dip each piece of Peach Banana Bread into the egg mixture, then place each piece immediately into the skillet to cook. Cook until slightly browned on each side.
~Optional: While your French toast is cooking, place the peach slices down in the skillet (off to the side) to brown and caramelize.
~Plate up your French toast. Top the pieces with powdered sugar or a little syrup, or eat them straight-up with the caramelized peach slices!
