I’m sharing My Favorite Superbowl Eats! You can have pizza, Chex mixes, cookies and ice cream without feeling guilty or gorged-out! Hooray! Go team!
The Superbowl is a holiday, for sure, in my house! In fact, my husband admitted when we started dating that I was more into the Superbowl than he was. Case in point, my enthusiasm last year.
My dad and I bet on the Superbowl every year. And its one of those things that ends up being brought up in conversation for MONTHS after the Superbowl is long forgotten. Who won George? Ugh, I hate losing.
So! I am not divulging my pick for the winner this year. That will be my own personal internal hurricane to enjoy. I WILL, however, share with you my Favorite Superbowl Eats!
It’s all about the food, right?! Salty, sweet, fatty, greasy…
Well, we can do that in the right way. I’ve got pizza, snack mix and cookies for you!
Plantain Crust Pizza – my plantain pizza is the BOMB. The crust is made from just two ingredients plus seasonings. Then top it how you like it! My extended family have all tested it in their own homes and continue to send me texts and pictures every time they make it! My husband loves that he can eat the entire pizza and not feel like a total pig. I love that I can eat as much of it as I want with zero guilt…and still have dessert!
Chex mixes! Chex mix is always present at my family’s celebrations. Handful after handful, this is always a winner. I have a couple kinds for you to graze on!
Cookies! No Bake Halva Cookie Bites are my latest obsession. I love that I can eat a couple, feel satisfied and oh-so-happy and a sick, over sugared tummy never results.
Need some ice cream to go with those cookies?! Of course you do! I’ve made ice cream in the BLENDER for you! Pistachio Chocolate Chip Coconut Milk Ice Cream (yes, dairy free!).
Ok! Now what are YOU making for the Superbowl?!

Woah, how did I miss the plantain pizza before?! Definitely pinning that and must try soon. I believe my family and I are even making pizzas for the Superbowl on Sunday, so perhaps I’ll give it a go!

I need wings for super bowl snacking, but I recently made chicken breast with wing sauce in the slow cooker and holy moly was it good! A healthier alternative to traditional fried wings.

Thanks Lindsay! It sucks to be a woman in this matter…when your husband does the same workouts and drops weight in a snap! And you’re working out and…waiting… 😉
