These are my favorite options for gifts for foodies that I just have to share with you! So let’s jump into my Top Ten Gifts (and maybe a bonus option too) for Foodies.
I feel like a pro when I know a friend is a foodie, but I know it isn’t always easy to think of a gift. Basically, these are all of the things I have or want and the things I know would delight anybody who is a foodie! If you need more personal help, I swear you can email me and I’ll get really excited to give more suggestions. But, here we go:
Cookbooks – I always LOVE cookbooks. I read them like novels. This year, my favorites were: Near & Far, Baked Occasions, Plenty More, Date Night In, and Seriously Delish. I really want some more regional cookbooks to add to my collection. I’m always on the look out for cookbooks with beautiful photos and descriptions that make you wish the author lived next door so you could soak in their lifestyle.
Cast Iron Skillet – want to give a gift that will last a lifetime and longer? Iron skillet is your answer. For a foodie, the iron skillet is kitchen staple that lasts a lifetime. They range in sizes and prices, so just go for what you’d like to use in your own kitchen.
Le Creuset or Staub pot – these pots are so beautiful and they last forever too. I have a set of Le Creuset from my wedding and I use them every single day. They are more than worth the investment. They come in gorgeous colors, tons of sizes, and there are so many ways to make these feel like the most personal gift (Have a friend that loves mac and cheese? Buy individual pots. Have a friend that loves curry and stew? Buy a 3qt pot.).Lately I’ve been obsessed with the cream/white colored ones.
Nespresso Machine – I LOVE my Nespresso machine (I have the Pixi). I just need to buy more pods for it. If your friend/family member doesn’t have a machine, definitely get them one (you can get one at a variety of price points) and make sure its one that comes with a credit for free pods (most do!). If your friend/family member has a machine, get them more pods. They’ll love it.
Vitamix or Blendtec – this is for all of you that have a BIG budget and someone you LOVE. I wouldn’t give up my Vitamix or my Blendtec for the world, so I can’t recommend one enough. There really is no comparison. I find a way to use them every single day. They’re both great brands, you can’t go wrong.
Specialty chocolate bars – have a friend that you just need to send a little something to? Load them up with specialty chocolate. Small batch chocolate bars from the grocery store or local artisans are perfect, and a lot come in fun seasonal flavors too!
Local pottery – Ever shop in local boutiques and fondle all of the local pottery? You know it would make a lovely gift! Trust your gut and buy a beautiful mug or bowl for that friend who you know will plaster it all over Instagram at her/his next meal.
Anthropologie dishes – I could live in an Anthropologie. Their dishes are always gorgeous. Give a couple mugs, a few dessert-sized plates, or a fun serving dish. I want an entire set of the Glenna dinnerware and the servingware, but I also love buying their mugs to create a miss-matched set.
Cocoa kit plus unique whisk – You can’t go wrong with cocoa! I know that the Williams Sonoma hot cocoa is always a hit. Pair it with a cute whisk and you have the perfect gift.
Cake stands – I can’t get enough of cake stands. I love these ones from Anthro, but I also love ones I see in boutiques too. I use them for cakes, brownies, cookies, decorations…everything! So no, you can’t ever have enough. And go small and cute too, because I almost never use my 10” cake stand, but I use my 6” and 8” ones ALL the time.
Bonus! My favorite gift card options for Foodies are:
Williams Sonoma, Sur la Table, Anthropologie, any local boutique that carries kitchen options (for a local friend), Barnes & Noble and any local farm-to-table restaurant that fits your friend’s style.
Note: Amazon links are affiliate links and so is the Blendtec link. The rest are just internet links. These are all my opinions, and this is not a sponsored post.

Cookbooks are always such a fun gift to get! I know finding recipes is easy online nowadays, but having a hard book is just so much better 🙂
