For our next Holiday Gift Guide, let’s talk KITCHEN stuff! This one is my Holiday Gift Guide for the Healthy Cook, but it’s really for any foodie…or wannabe foodie…or your poor little brother who can’t cook to save his life (I swear I’m not talking about MY little brother…). Anyways!
Last year, this list made me SO excited. And since I’m pretty minimalist, that list is still super pertinent to this year. But we’ll talk a whole new list and some cookbooks too.
First of all, have you trolled little kitchen stores or boutiques yet? You’ll find the cutest stuff. I highly recommend stumbling into local shops like Freckled Hen Farmhouse if you have one near you. Camper mugs, wooden spoons, wire baskets, vintage shears, French rolling pins; all so cute.
Although it may sound like you’re sending subliminal messages if you get your friends kitchen cleaning stuff, if you get them super COOL kitchen cleaning stuff, it’s a good thing. I love these wooden kitchen scrubbers with a bundle of seasonal Mrs. Meyers soaps and sprays.
PS anything linked in here that’s sold on Amazon, I tried to link in my Amazon Storefront (and more)!
I love anything more Eco Friendly lately. So Bees Wrap, StasherBags, glass storage containers with lids and reusable straws are perfect practical gifts that will be truly appreciated. Plus, who says stocking stuffers have to be complicated? I think these make great ones. Also, scour the Trader Joe’s home aisle, because they’re constantly rolling out their own versions of some of these. Ikea has awesome glass storage too.
Kitchen THINGS are where it’s at though, right? So despite what my husband would tell you, I don’t keep kitchen tools or appliances that I don’t use. I don’t have a food processer, avocado scoop, apple corer or any late night TV items. That being said, my most used kitchen “gadget” is this KitchenAid mixer spiralizer attachment which makes all different size veggie noodles! I use it ALL the time! Worth it.
I don’t have an Instant Pot but they are all the rage right now. They’ll most certainly be on every Black Friday deal. My friends who have them love it, so if it appeals to you or a friend, snatch one up!
I consider my floors to be part of the kitchen. A robotic vacuum is the ultimate gift. I mean, a MAID is the ultimate gift, but who wraps up a human? Want please.
I use my Vitamix every single day. And if you have a friend that is the same way, one of these smoothie attachments would be awesome! It’s on my Christmas list for sure.
After binging Salt Fat Acid Heat on Netflix, I realized I needed to step up my salting game. A salt cellar with a salt variety pack from Trader Joes would be an awesome gift.
If you’re spending big on a loved one, go with cookware from Staub or LeCreuset. I have both and love them both. Bakers, French ovens, dutch ovens, skillets…they’re all the BEST quality. I recently got the Staub pumpkin shaped cocotte and although I’m not big on themed cookware, I LOVE this piece! So cute.
Back to more reasonably priced gifts, my favorite Camper Mugs are from Chalkfull of Love. I seriously love them all and they make SUCH cute gifts! Wrap them up with a couple cute hot chocolate spoons from Trader Joe’s and you’re golden.
