Whipped Feta with Honey and Black Pepper is incredibly simple, but is a true force of flavor. If you love feta cheese, this is about to be your new favorite thing EVER. Perfect for spreading on toast or using as a dip for veggies, you’ll be bringing the Whipped Feta to summer parties and book clubs left and right.
Last year when my husband and I escaped for a short trip to Nashville, we had some AMAZING food. But the one thing that’s truly burned in my brain is a whipped feta dish we had at a restaurant there.
The whipped feta we had was drizzled in warm, fermented honey and coarse black pepper. As much as I loved their dish, fermented honey just isn’t as easy to come by (or pull out of a jar I already have). So this is my “as close to their dish as possible” version.
If you take a peek at the ingredients, you’ll see there are TWO. Yup, two. Because whipped feta should taste like FETA. Period.
So, I’ve whipped together full fat Greek yogurt and feta, leaving a pure Feta taste. The full-fat is important, because otherwise you’re adding more tangy flavors than you want. Full fat equals buttery taste. And try not to add more than that scant ½ cup. Because you don’t want it to spread and be thin on the plate, you want it nice and thick. So really work on scraping it down into the blender and keeping it thick.
And then let’s chat for half a sec about honey. I bought my honey from a local farm stand, and was assured it was harvested within the area. So, this honey is legit and will also keep away those Spring allergies. Win win. If you can only grab a bear at the grocery store, try to look for local, or at least organic.
Ready? Got your apples sliced and veggies scrubbed? Let’s make Whipped Feta!

This is a great idea! I’m think pink peppercorns, with that unique flavor, would be fun and pretty, too. Love this idea – thanks!
