Time for pies en masse. This Thanksgiving I made Pecan Pie (twice!) and cornbread for the stuffing (dad helped a little). The Croissant Chronicles: Day 3
Oh my...I think I've died and gone to heaven. Not only does my apartment smell like warm, fresh bread, but everything turned out so close to perfect! I had two pans of shaped croissants. Well aparently I'm geometrically challenged. I rolled out the dough and measured each side of the rectangles and made notches at the correct spots...and cut triangles. I was supposed to end up with 12 triangles, but I ended up with 14. The croissants are smaller than normal but I have more of them...so I would call that a bonus!
